BURTON PROCESS OFF-AXIS 2017 Tavola Camber Snowboard
This action-packed Process aligns performance with your stance for the ultimate in park-tuned geometry.
Meet the king of pop. A twist on the pro’s pick for freestyle action, the Process Off-Axis aligns key tech with the typical park rider’s stance to unleash the board’s natural flex, edge hold, and landing control. Built with an updated blunted tip and tail shape, Squeezebox core profiling energizes the board without sacrificing stability, meshing with PurePop Camber for amplified Ollies and a more playful take on traditional camber response.
Softer flexing than the Custom Twin, the Process Off-Axis is more suited to the park rider, yet still fully capable of all-terrain freestyle.
The perfectly symmetrical Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it. The exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding everything from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow. Long before the hype about waved edges, Burton introduced frostbite edges. They extend slightly beneath your bindings for an extreme good edge-hold on hard-pack. Full of power when you need it and playful when you don't. Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, and forgiving. The Off-Axis version is aligned to the typical park rider’s stance .
Pro-Tip™ is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Pure pop camber features subtle flat zones just outside your feet which amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise tip and tail sections enhance float with a catch-free feel.
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for versatility whether riding naturally or switch.
The FSC™ CERTIFIED SUPER FLY II™ 700G CORE features stronger and lighter woods targeting specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Additionally, at the DUALZONE™ EGD™ design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. The Off-Axis Squeezebox is a patent-pending technology which improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate. The TRIAX™ FIBERGLASS offers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The Sintered Base is durable and highly porous, with added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.
Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). In fact, Burton trusts it so much that all boards with The Channel are backed by a 3-year warranty. The Burton-exclusive INFINITE RIDE™ technology allows Burton to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
