Riding Style
The Name Dropper is a freestyle board for intermediate riders who shred the park in all its facets.

Shape
The perfectly symmetrical Twin Shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it. Long before the hype about wavy “serrated knife” edges started, Burton introduced Frostbite Edges. Off-Axis Frostbite extends out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t. Pro-Tip is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Profile
An evolution of a traditional camber shape, Burton’s PurePop Camber profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise tip and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel.

Flex
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for versatility whether riding naturally or switch.

Construction
Lightened-up and loaded with pop, the dual-species wood FSC™ Certified Super Fly™ 800 g Core utilizes dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwood to reduce overall weight with no sacrifice in strength or performance. Additionally, with Dualzone™ EGD™, wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. Off-Axis Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Triax Fiberglass offers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
With an overall easier feel, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling technology to the progressing rider. Stiffer zones just outside your feet create a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail, while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. The end result is more control with less effort from the rider.
The Sintered Base is durable and highly porous, to get added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide. Super Sap® Epoxy is a resin formulated with bio-based materials. The Channel® gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). The Burton-exclusive Infinite Ride technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
