How StepOn attacks work
Two connection points on the toes and one on the heel ensure a firm grip between boots and board. Fastening the bindings works in seconds: first, enter with the Heel Cleat of your boot in the Heel Clip of the bindings. Then press your toes down to close the Toe Cleats. You are now fully connected and ready to go. With the Release Lever you go out with one move. Pull the lever, make a short movement with the foot and the boot is free. The best thing about everything? The lever automatically pulls back on so you can return without using your hands.

The new StepOn boots make your track experience even more beautiful. By using the BOA sequence system. you save even more time for a snug fit and easy adjustment with the rotation of the knob. The Snugger Strap allows you to adjust the heel grip and the Forward-Flex to your liking. The Heel Cleat is based on traditional buckle attacks; you can adjust it with two levels of connection to different snow and ice conditions. Toe Cleats consist of two components and therefore guarantee maximum strength and strength.

The Photon Step On® is one of the boots for the Burton Step On® system, the fast, easy and intuitive boot binding system that makes snowboarding even more comfortable.
Outer boot
The special Step On® Backstay on the back of the boot provides extra grip between boot and binding and is specially adapted to the Step On® binding. The light rubber print transfers power directly from the boot to the binding, preventing premature fatigue. The firm and flexing 1:1 PowerUp Tongue provides increased response with great rebound and durability. The Step On® outsole features toe studs in the forefoot that securely lock into the binding. The EST® optimised midsole shifts the centre of gravity downwards and improves board feel without compromising comfort. The Vibram® Traction Lug outsole with EcoStep™ rubber allows for an increased surface area for more contact points that provide optimal traction at a low weight.
Liner
The heat-mouldable Imprint 3 liner features a hook-and-loop closure system with an internal lace-up closure for a snug fit and lightweight Power Panels for more response. The slightly higher Focus Cuff increases heel stability by enclosing the ankle and providing improved response. The Snugger strap allows the rider to adjust heel stability and forward flex stiffness.
Lacing system
The Sequence BOA® system guides the lacing over an inner spool for a snug fit and easy adjustment with the turn of the dial.
