The Mind Expander expands your horizons. The playful board is looking for creative riders whose imagination knows no bounds, even in the backcountry. If you're like Jeremy and want to explore the most remote corners of the mountains and are looking for a fun splitboard, you can't ignore the Mind Expander Split. The board is fun in any terrain and gives you a surfing feeling that you haven't experienced before in snowboarding.

Riding style
With the Mind Expander Split you have snowboard meets surf on a new level. The playful splitboard is fun in any terrain!

Shape
The Directional Shape has a backward flex, sidecut and inserts. The blunt nose ensures that less snow is carried backwards over the sides of the nose. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Traction Tech 2.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.

Profile
The Mind Expander comes with a new profile for 22/23. The Christenson Surf Camber Rocker provides better edge hold in a wide range of conditions and the inserts have been moved 2cm forward for extra grip. 
 
Flex
With a medium flex (6/10) you have the perfect middle that can do it all.
 
Construction
The basis of the Mind Expander Split is the Bambo Surf Core. A perfectly tuned, playful core for the best features in the backcountry. Biax fibreglass makes for a fun and forgiving run. Super Sap Bio Resin is plant-based and is used instead of petroleum-based epoxy. For the edges, the Jones proven oversized, recycled and extremely durable steel edges are used. Jones also uses Recycled Rounded ABS in the Surf series, which extends the life of the topsheet. The ECO-plastic topsheet made from environmentally friendly castor seeds is lightweight and durable. The construction is rounded off by new the sintered 8000 Base. The durable base is quick and easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE and carbon.

Karakoram clips
The Mind Expander Split comes with Karakoram UltraClips 2.0 and Tip Locks on tip and tail. The adjustable tension of the Ultra Clips hold the two halves of your splitboard together unsurpassed.
