All new Skate Classics: Very durable inside, suitable for skateboarding
Completely redesigned for the modern skate, the brand new Skate Classics collection offers everything skaters need for maximum performance. And this season, we partnered with Elijah Berle to create a collection of Skate Classics inspired by his passion for the art of traditional tattooing, motorcycle culture, old school surfing and fashion of the 1950s.
The repositioned DURACAP reinforcements and completely redesigned upper, combined with a new two-part deeper knurled ribbon on the toe, make the Elijah Berle Skate Half Cab sturdy enough to withstand everyday skateboarding use. The new buttress contoured on the heel and the inner ribbon tab ensure better skate control and a perfect fit. Vans' famous rubber-resin outsole has also been improved with the SICKSTICK# compound, to offer greater grip and boardfeel. In addition, the energy-returning POPCUSH insole offers maximum cushioning and impact protection, while reducing leg fatigue during longer skateboarding sessions. Internal heel reinforcements have also been added for added support and stability.
The revised tape of the new Elijah Berle Skate Half Cab, along with a sturdy suede and canvas upper of 6 and 10 ounces (170 and 283 g), offers the iconic look you’re looking for, with all the performance benefits required by skaters.
